Samson Elijah Replogle To us he's the best dog in the world...to others he may be the most annoying. Energy is the word that best describes him. He loves to jump up on people (all 90 pounds of him)...he just gets so excited when new people are around, he just wants to say hi. He loves to be pet ALL THE TIME...he just wants to be loved. He loves to be the center of attention and if he's not he'll go out of his way to see that it happens (exp. when Greg gets home from work he puts himself between Greg and Jett/Natalie and won't stop until he is satisfied with the world revolving around him:) He loves to lick (seriously, he may have the longest dog tongue ever)...he just wants to show affection...in a really gross way!
As you can see in the picture above, Jett just had an attack of Sam's tongue. Samson is constantly licking Jarrett. Now, Jarrett doesn't help the situation, he is always sticking his hand (or face) out for Samson to lick. Jarrett has also learned how to play fetch with Samson. It's so cute. Sam brings his toy and usually Jett will throw it (only about a foot, or he just puts it back in Sam's mouth). Jett just laughs and laughs - what wonderful cheap entertainment! Samson has been so good with Jarrett. Even though at times he is very hyper, he is very careful and gentle around Jarrett. Samson is also really good at knowing which toys are his - he never plays with Jett's...but Jett sometimes has a problem with this, countless times we've found him with one of Sam's toys in his mouth...yuck! Sometimes Samson can be a handful, but overall he is a wonderful and loving dog.

That picture of Jarrett's hair is so cute.. until you read about why it's like that.. GROSS!! We all love Samson but yes, his love results in you being pushed to the floor being drenched by his mile long tongue. I do love my nephew dog, though. =)
