Donkey Basketball

So over the weekend our lives were opened up to the world of donkey basketball. Here in good ole Goshen, Indiana, we run out of activities in the winter time, so we get excited about donkeys in a gym. A school here had this as a fundraiser and our brother-in-law, Darin, was on one of the donkey teams:) Pretty sure we haven't laughed that hard in a long time. To explain the "sport", it is like basketball, but you have to ride a donkey. There are different rules, but the overall idea is the same. It was so funny to see everyone trying to get on the donkeys while trying to play the game. Darin was so fun to watch, his first donkey didn't like someone on him, so everytime that Darin got on, he'd take a step, put his head down, and then Darin would slide right off. Some would get thrown off, some would jump on and then fall right off, and there was one donkey that would buck off his rider everytime (it must have been confused...hello, your a donkey)! Natalie has this problem of laughing whenever someone falls, so she was in Heaven the whole evening:) Jarrett came too, and he loved it. He even had his first donkey ride.
