Jarrett Gregory Replogle

On May 6, 2005 our lives changed forever! After nine months of antisapation, the day finally arrived...and we would like to bring you with us as we recap that very painful and yet joyous day.

On Thursday the 5th we went to the hospital early in the morning, false alarm. During the day Natalie was having contractions and afraid of being kicked-out a second time, we waited. Finally after laboring at home for about five hours we headed to the hospital at record speed, because the contractions were now only two minutes apart. The first couple hours were rough because Natalie was in a lot of pain (not that she handles pain well, those of you who know her would agree)...pretty sure everyone in the maternity ward heard her scream "I'm going to die":) Finally Natalie got an epidural and life was good once again!

This picture above was taken right after the doctor broke Natalie's water. It was a very scary time for us because the baby's heart rate went down significally. Then the doctor and nurses started running around in a calm panic and then put oxygen on Natalie right away, in efforts to give the baby more oxygen. Within a minute it was back to normal, but very scary at the time. Finally after 3 1/2 hours of pushing, yikes, we met our little miracle from God.

The picture above is our first family picture, mintues after birth. We were so excited. We had picked out Jett's name early in the pregnancy, so as soon as we saw that it was a boy, he had his name. We both thought that it would be a boy, so we were excited to see that we were right. Shortly after Jarrett was born, we got visitors. It was so wonderful to see the joy he gave to so many people.

Here are some of our favorite pictures of Jarrett after he was born...enjoy:)

This picture is Natalie's favorite.

This is a picture with both sets of Grandparents, Jett is very lucky!
