Welcome Spring!

Yea! It finally feels like Spring outside:) We had our first official outside play day and we had so much fun! The boys played in their boat, Greg mowed the yard, and I sat in my new lawn chair with a big smile on my face. Ah! Warm weather, I can finally wear my flip-flops, flowers blooming and Jett can play outside by himself again...can't get much better than that! Brayden is starting to like being outside now. Last summer he wasn't a big fan, but now that he can move, I think he enjoys it more. Plus, I'm sure the whole asthma, hard to breathe thing, didn't help. He got his first "taste" of grass. It's hard for him to walk in it, but oh, it tastes so good...

Ok, Brayden. You won't eat bread, but you'll eat a whole handful of grass! Annoying, but very cute:)Finally we decided to end our day with a bike ride. For my birthday I wanted a bike and a little trailer for the boys. I thought it would be good exercise for Greg and I and a blast for the boys. It started out not so good, Bray was a bit emotional, but once we started moving he enjoyed the ride. Jarrett loved every moment of it...and as you can see...monkey had to come too:)

We tried to make it to my parents house, but Brayden was enjoying the ride a bit too much and fell asleep. It's never a good thing if Brayden falls asleep an hour before bedtime, so we had to turn back. By the way, Jett is trying to give a thumbs up on the ride and Brayden really is there under the helmet. So, Welcome Spring, we are so glad you are here!
