That was the ratio it felt like at our annual Easter candy "hunt". A million pieces of candy to one child.
The antispation was huge this year because the boys are old enough to know what is coming and probably because we still have some of that candy from last year too:)
This year it was a room FULL of candy for about five kids...Joya was one of them...she had some good effort, but just couldn't keep up with the big dogs...and wasn't very happy when she did get one in her graps that her daddy kept taking it away from her. She thought the wrapper tasted great:)
This picture was a bit blurry, but I couldn't resist. This was Brayden halfway into picking up the candy..."Can't... do... it... any...more - too...tired." He would take his bucket to a populated area and lay on the floor and put them in. Lazy...but hilarious! So today as I was putting away our ten pounds of candy I put some in my hospital bag - maybe I can bribe some nurses into getting me my epidural earlier:) A girl can hope!
