The sound of Heaven laughing

Lately Jarrett has been talking a lot about Jesus and having tons of questions. It is so sweet seeing his tender side about the Lord and wanting to know more about Him. At the end of the day we take turns rocking him at night, just to unwind, ask him about his day, read, sing and pray together. He loves to pray and talk about how he loves Jesus. During the day we talk a lot about how Jesus wants us to obey mommy and daddy, share our toys and play nice with our friends and Brayden. Some examples: One day he heard that his friend Wesley wasn't sick anymore and he got all excited and said, "Mommy, Jesus made Wesley all better"! When he shares a toy with Brayden, he will usually look up at me and say, "Jesus is happy, isn't he mommy"! Just today he asked me how we get to Heaven...I said through tears, "We pray to Jesus and ask him to live in our hearts." Then he said, "Can I do it?" So we prayed. So adorable.

Anyway, last night Greg and Jett were eating a snack before bed together watching America's Funniest Home Videos (a family favorite) and the Geico caveman commerical came on...ya know, the one where the caveman is on the moving walk and sees his picture and comes back. When he comes back, Jett looks up at Greg and goes, "Daddy, he looks like Jesus." Oh my goodness, I don't think that we have laughed that hard in a long time. Hours later when we were laying in bed, we were still laughing:) I could just picture Grandma Replogle putting her hand up to her mouth and giggling, Grandpa Snider letting out a loud laugh, Jesus smiling while shaking his head and God saying, "I am so glad I created humor, that was really funny"!
