Natalie's Top Fifteen

Last night as I was up until almost 3:00 a.m. I began thinking about all of the good and bad moments in my life that I will never forget. The moments where you remember every detail, every word, every sight...

So I will share with you my top fifteen list (not everything, just some that stick out right away) in order of when it happened.

15. The day my father passed away. No need for details...it just really sucked.

14. The first night I arrived in Ecuador for my six month stay as an english teacher. How overwhelming it was, walking out of the airport and seeing hundreds of people standing at the gate looking at all of us that had arrived. Having no clue who was coming to pick us up and how to communicate to anyone. And later that night laying in the bed thinking to myself "what on earth have I gotten myself into?"

13. The first time I actually "saw" Greg for the first time. I had met him a few times before, but I truly believe the Lord blinded me towards him because I wasn't ready for him yet. I remember seeing him walk down the aisle at church, my heart skipped a beat and all I could think of was, "wow!"

12. The first time that Greg told me that he loved me...and then he kissed me for the first time. It was so romantic.

11. The night that Greg proposed to me. He had a surprise picnic for me on the stage of our church. Then he played my favorite wedding song and asked me to dance. While we were dancing he told me all the things he loved about me, got on one knee and asked me to be his wife and spend the rest of his life with him...ah, sigh.

10. Obviously our wedding day and honeymoon...grrr:)

9. My first dinner as a married couple...that was a complete disaster. I attempted to make potato soup, but made the mistake of adding two cups of flour instead of two tablespoons. Bless my dear sweet husband, whom ate the plaster and tried to act like it tasted good. I cried for a half an hour afterwards.

8. The day we watched Greg's mom, Linda, pass away...another sad day.

7. Funny story, but will never forget. I hate armpit hair and of course Greg milks it for all its worth. At night he will lift his arm so it's right in my face and then twist the hair...I can feel vomit coming up just writing about this. Anyway, one night we were laying in bed and I rolled over and put my arm over his chest. Well, Sam came up and wanted to be pet, so I started petting his hair (he is one hairy black dog)
...and I say "Awe, night Sam."
A few seconds later Greg says, "Nat, what are you doing."
"Petting Samson goodnight, why"? replied Natalie
"Because you are stoking my armpit hair" Greg says with a laugh.
And then I scream and get totally grossed out.

6. The vacation I took with my mom down to Florida to visit my Grandparents for a week. It was so much fun and so relaxing.

5. The day we found out we were pregnant with Jarrett. I had a dream that night that I was pregnant, so at five in the morning I got up and took a test. When it showed positive I ran upstairs, jumped on the bed and told Greg to look at it. We both were so giddy with excitement. Greg jumped up out of bed and ran around saying, "my boys can swim, my boys can swim":):)

4. When Greg and I took our first vacation to Tennessee and stayed in a cabin in the mountains.

3. The birth of Jarrett Gregory Replogle. I won't give details...your welcome...but it was the hardest and most amazing day ever.

2. The day we found out we were pregnant with Brayden. I had a feeling that I was pregnant so in the morning I took the test. I left it on the bathroom counter for Greg to find when he woke up. After he came out I was expecting something...and he said nothing. I asked if he saw anything in the bathroom and he said no...went back to look...AND then came out going, "are you serious? Really! Are you serious"?

1. The birth of Brayden Michael Replogle. Even though I had been through it before, it was still such an exciting day and full of new experiences. And I will never forget screaming about sueing someone if I didn't get my epidural in time. Bunny trail...but shortly after Brayden we born we realized that we all have the same amount of letters in our first names and the boys have the same in the middle. I know I'm such an anal person, but seriously, we didn't plan that:)
Gregory C. Replogle
Natalie Sue Replogle
Jarrett Gregory Replogle
Brayden Michael Replogle

So here's my list. I'm looking forward to adding many more.
