It's a Cripe thing

The week after we got back from vacation our county fair started. We really enjoy going, you can't pass up something new to do in this area. Our favorite part of the fair is the farmstock tractor pull. My family is HUGE tractor pull fans and mostly because we pull in it every year. The big event is usually in the morning, but this year it rained the night before so the track was really muddy. So they postponed it until all of the ESPN guys were done...so here's the kicker...we didn't start pulling until almost 11:00 p.m...and we stayed to watch it. Yep, we are pathetic. And more so, because we had the boys stay with us. Jett loves tractors and has seen the tractor pull on video, so we hated for him to miss it. We also introduced my cousin, Alyssa, to the wonderful world of tractor pulling...and she loved it! Brayden fell asleep toward the beginning and Jett finally fell asleep around 12:30 - that's right, we were still there. We didn't leave the fair until 1:00 and they still had more to go. It's a sickness I tell you:) I must say I paid for our decision, Jett's schedule was messed up for a few days afterwards and was out of control grumpy. Sorry no pictures, I forgot my camera.

I'd been waiting for a tractor pull post for awhile now! :) It makes me laugh.... it's one area where I'm noticably not from Elkhart Co. and did not grow up with a family who bleeds John Deere green. The enjoyment you guys find in it....maybe someday I'll grow to love it as you do.
