We are finally making progess with painting the house. Over the holidays we (Greg) were able to paint Jett's room. Here is the before picture as we were begining.
Pretty much a boring white...like the rest of the house when we moved in. We wanted to go with blue colors since his room is decorated with airplanes (I know that you are surprised). We also wanted to add a little more than solid wall colors, so we did stripes on one wall. At first we weren't sure if we liked it, but after we took off all the tape, we loved it. Greg did such a great job and painted straight for about 14 hours so it would be done in one day to please his very anal and pregnant wife - thanks honey! Here is the finished product:)

We've added wall decorations since the pictures with an airplane clock and shelf and also a mirror and pictures. The table in his room was a gift from Greg's parents for his first birthday and his stepmom even painted an airplane on it with Jett's name (it is so cute and perfect). We also want to hang some airplanes from the ceiling. Greg got some the other day and it has become a running joke between us. I was thinking minature airplanes and I guess he was thinking the real thing:) He brought home three huge model airplanes (like wing-span of 2.5 feet). At least we can joke about them and hopefully by some miracle we can get them to work... and if they fall, it won't knock anybody out! We have had a lot of fun with Jett's room and look forward to the baby's room when we know what gender it is. Here is a picture of Jett very excited about his big boy bed and room.
