This weekend my mom, Kyla and I went on a girl's get-away to visit my sister and brother-in-law. Ahhh, it was wonderful! To be honest, I was at my breaking point and needed just a moment to breathe from everyday life. So my incredible hubby took the weekend off to watch the boys and us girls got in the car and headed south!
Kyla did awesome the whole trip. What a good little girl!!!! Can you see what book my sister is reading? Yep! She is pregnant...which made the trip even more fun to talk about baby stuff...and enjoy the fact that I wasn't the pregnant one this time. Megan is going to make such a good mom and super cute with a baby bump:)
The trip was exactly what I needed. A lot of NOTHING! We sat around the first day and just relaxed and caught up on life. The second day we went SHOPPING. I got a few things that I was "needing" and it was so enjoying being able to take my time. Uncle Aaron took a turn babysitting Miss Kyla while we went into town for a bit in the afternoon. They bonded over a baseball game:) I even got a two hour NAP and didn't feel guilty about it at all! It was also nice to EAT dinner in peace and sit the entire meal.
Saturday night we settled in for some FOOTBALL. Like my view. We had two games going on at once and during commericals switched to another game. On Sunday we went to their church, had a yummy meal (that I did not have to prepare:) and then had a quick photo shoot before we headed back home....with a perfect baby that didn't cry once durning our 5 1/2 hour trip home!

So glad you got some time away!!! I just don't get how you accomplish all you do with three little ones. You are an inspiration to me!!! Kyla is getting so big and is adorable. I might need to get a picture of her in that Dress...I have none for the website of a little one in one.
Is is just me or does she look like Jett in those pictures? What a cutie, you too of course, Nat. Miss you and glad you had a girls weekend away!
Ah, what fun! Yeah, for mini vacations!
I don't know that Kyla could get any cuter!!!!!! I am missing you :)
glad to hear that you had a good weekend away! you are such a great mommy :)
Ha, ha...I love the granny slippers. I promise you my grandma has that exact same pair.
But more importantly, glad you had a nice weekend away!
