Never Alone

This past month has been a trying time for me. Greg has been extremely busy with work, which has left me and Jett spending a lot of one on one time together. I love being a stay at home mom (best job in the world), but one downside is if you have a husband that has to work all the time, it can get a bit lonely. In the last three weeks we average seeing Greg about 5 hours each week. Although, he was home all Saturday and Sunday, which was such a blessing. So during the long weeks of having to be a "single mom", I find that God is so faithful. Most of the time I get cabin fever, so some part of the day we go somewhere. It's so neat to see how God answers my prayers with my lonliness and reminds me that I am never alone.

Like the other day I took Jarrett to the park and my brother and his wife were there with their kids (they don't even live in the same area of the park). It was such a great surprise and even though we were only there together for about half an hour, it just totally brightened up my day. I think it did for Jarrett too (he gets a little bored playing with mom all the time).

I also find it a blessing to live so close to most of our family. It's so nice to have people drop by and so easy for Jett and I to stop at their houses too. Some exciting news is that Greg's sister, Darcy and her husband, Darin are expecting their first child. We are so happy and looking forward to a little Holsopple. They only live a mile away, so I'm already getting excited about play-dates:)

Hello there! I just wanted to say great post!!! Congrats by the way on the new house and baby!! I really enjoyed reading this post because it is so true about God! He provides the right thing at the right time and that is truly amazing! It is awesome to read the trust you have in Him! My husband is the lucky one that gets to stay home with Grace during the day and as rewarding as it is and as much as he loves it, time to get away from the house is very important as well! Again, thanks for the post and the reminder that God is constantly providing! :)
